Isthmus is essential to for the logical explanaition of ethnic differences as the boundery line between prehistoric Asia an Europe. The Benjamin Jowett translation of Plato:

" the boundaries were in those days fixed by Isthmus, and that in the direction of the continent they extended as far as the hights of Cithaeron and Parnes. The boundery line came down in in the direction of the sea, having the district of Oropus on the right and with the river Asopus as the limit on the left."

It was not possible for humans to pass Isthmus but when sailingskill was developed and the passage was easy made on sea the former bounderyline between Asia ande Europe fell. The conflictregion is obvious. Whats right and left is choosen as seen from the sea. Sea is the used and possible traderute and right and left as geographic directions are only useful if there is understood that it is just one view to refere from.

Prehistoric Isthmus told by Plato and set by Carl Festin .

This explanation of pehistoric Isthmus has not before been told. The solution is choosen due to the description in Plato and the facts that occurs with a lower Mediterranean level and a later refill. In consideration is the signification of Isthmus compared with the catastrophe in total. There are a story told not based on small details and the Black River final flow is so big and fullfills the told role as a fixed boundery line. The Black Sea river last part is the prehistoric Asopus. The prehistoric geography is stipulated. Isthmus starts at Karpathos Lake position 35.23.50 N: 27.25.20 E and drops into sea att position 35.29.50 N: 27.54.20 E. Isthmus direction and boundery line are told similar as sea and the detected Isthmus fits into the Plato myth. Also the conflict between greeks and atlants i.e asians and europeans is very logical. The south and european side of Isthmus was a very far away and an area with very low interest until greeks became skilled sailors. The area then became a nearby and interesting area that by eropeans, atlants, almost was unsettled. Greek activety and interest raised the value of the area and it was a logical place for expansion of the greek civilisation. Atlants refused greeks to just take over an area that was european, always had been, and with a fixed borderline along Isthmus.

Isthmus devides Asia and Europe with a fixed boundery. The European side is named Ur-Corinthia. Prehistoric geographic names Ur-Athen, Ur-Corinthia and Ur-Antriioa ylos are named and positioned to be alike relations between todays Athen, Corinthia and Pylos and todays nearby Isthmus.
